Dr. Samantha Bartlett
Originally from Georgia, Dr. Bartlett graduated Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Bartlett worked as a technical writer and project manager in aviation safety and education, primarily for military contractors. In addition to her DVM, Dr. Bartlett holds undergrad degrees in biology and English and master’s degrees in aviation safety and education technology.
Her veterinary interests are dentistry, feline medicine, and integrative medicine. She is currently studying to obtain a graduate diploma in Western Herbal medicine through the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies with a planned completion date in fall of 2021.
Dr. Bartlett currently lives in Islamorada, FL with her standard poodle named George and three cats, Amelia, Izzy, and Clarence. When she is not working, she enjoys paddle boarding with George, wildcrafting for herbs, writing blog and newsletter articles and lazy days with a good book.
Dr. Bartlett is amazing. She has a great bedside manner and really made our animals feel at ease. Gentle with my 85lb dog and my cat. My mom brought her animals to her as well and really liked her. She is knowledgeable and informative. Will request to have her from now on!
