Meet Our Veterinarians
Dr. Michelle Crosetto
Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Michelle Crosetto earned her B.S. in Biochemistry-Molecular Biology at the University of California Santa Barbara. She was a dolphin trainer for SeaWorld San Diego, Discovery Cove in Orlando, and Ocean World in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic for the first ten years of her career. In 2011, Dr. Crosetto graduated from Western University with her Degree in Veterinary Medicine. She continued her veterinary career with small animal and aquatic animal medicine in Las Vegas, NV for the next five years. After that, she worked with marine mammals from 2016-2020. In 2020, Dr. Crosetto returned to small animal medicine while continuing to foster her love for marine life helping at Theater of the Sea. Dr. Crosetto has been married for nineteen years and currently has two dogs and two cats. When she isn’t doing the heavy lifting of saving lives, she can be found at the gym literally doing heavy lifting.
Dr. Antonio Fernandez
Dr. Antonio Fernandez is a dedicated veterinarian who graduated from the Higher Institute of Agricultural Sciences in Havana, Cuba in 1986. He immigrated to the United States in 2000 with his family. For decades Dr. Fernandez has provided compassionate and comprehensive care to a diverse range of animals; from farm animals like cows and horses to household pets like cats and dogs. His professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dental care, and general medicine.
Throughout his career, Dr. Fernandez has been committed to advancing animal welfare and educating pet owners about responsible care practices and frequently participates in workshops and seminars to stay updated on the latest veterinary advancements. Dr. Fernandez believes in the importance of the human-animal bond and strives to enhance the lives of both pets and their owners through quality veterinary care and education.
A huge thank you to Upper Keys Vet Hospital for taking such good care of Checkers. He was a very sick kitty. Thank you to the doctors and all staff that gave him such great care!
